POSITION: Business Development Manager (aka Outside Sales Manager)

Unique Vacations, Inc. the Worldwide Representative of Sandals & Beaches Resorts is accepting resumes for home based Business Development Managers (aka Outside Sales Manager) for the following territories:

At this time, we are unable to accept any resumes other than for the positions listed below.

1) BDM Position based in Milwaukee, WI (or surrounding area)will cover the state of Wisconsin.

2) BDM Position based in Minneapolis, MN (or surrounding area)
will cover the states of MN, SD and ND

3) BDM Position based in Syracuse, NY (or surrounding area)
will cover the region from Syracuse to Albany and surrounding.

• Individual must be a team player with excellent customer service and sales skills.
  
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently in a fast paced environment, be personable as well as assertive.

Main Objective: To impact business for Sandals and Beaches Resorts and all of our related products by servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels.

Grow new business by helping travel agents develop marketing plans and reach booking goals via utilization of the vast tools available through the Certified Sandals Specialist Program and Preferred Sandals Specialist Program.

Requirements: The position requires an outgoing positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills, teamwork and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Job requires extensive travel both by car and plane for possibly long periods and a major commitment.

Sales Managers are required to have a level of computer proficiency that will allow them to navigate the internet, communicate via e-mail, operate a laptop computer, conduct, prepare & update presentations using PowerPoint, manipulate spreadsheets, and prepare documents using a word processor.

In addition, Sales Managers are expected to speak in public and prepare presentations for travel agencies, wholesalers and other industry organizations and professionals.

Required field activity:

To service Travel Agencies: Daily sales calls; In-House agency presentations; Conducting Sandals/Beaches (Consumer) Nights; Representing the company at Trade Shows; Working bridal and consumer shows; Working with and attending meetings for agency & industry organizations; Conducting self initiated familiarization trips and conducting corporate office mandated fam trips; Planning and executing Sales Blitz; Assisting with events in other regions as needed; Planning and executing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner events and seminars; Seeking out advertising & promotional opportunities; Positioning Sandals & Beaches products within agencies to reach consumers and expand brand awareness; Any other functions deemed necessary by the company to generate sales.

POSITION: Graphic Designer

Unique Vacations, Inc., Representatives for Sandals Resorts & Beaches Resorts currently looking for a Graphic Designer based in Miami, Florida. This creative and talented individual will be responsible for conceptualization, UI design, production and maintenance of all visual elements of our Caribbean resorts' presence on the internet.


" Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts, or related field.
" Minimum of three years experience in an advertising agency or in-house corporate department.
" Proficiency with a Macintosh Desktop in the latest desktop publishing design programs including, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Adobe PhotoShop.
" Experience designing web interfaces.
" Possess a Graphic Design portfolio.
" Detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
" Ability to set priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines.
" Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume creative environment.

POSITION: Front End Web Developer

Front-end Web Developer
Unique Vacations, Inc., a representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts, is seeking an experienced full-time Front-end Web Developer to aid in building large-scale web projects. The developer would be working with a team of developers and designers to create a multitude of interactive and dynamic projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
This individual must have a clear understanding of fundamental programming techniques and be able to learn new technologies quickly. Ideal candidates will be able to manage tasks effectively and as well as have extensive development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly. Must be comfortable working on a creative, fast-paced environment that might require extended hours and personal commitment. Ability and willingness to travel extensively is also required.
Skills:
" XHTML: must know how to code efficient and valid HTML
" CSS: must have a deep knowledge of how CSS inheritance works and how to properly use it
" jQuery/JavaScript: must be familiar with core JavaScript functions as well as jQuery syntax
" Must have some kind of server-side scripting, preferably ColdFusion
" Must understand basic programming techniques such as: loops, arrays, structures
" Experience with search engine and performance optimized pages
