Toddler Techno Takes Over Turks and Caicos: Inside Lenny Pearce’s Beaches Family Rave

Big beats, little feet and a whole lot of Caribbean sunshine took over Beaches Turks & Caicos this September as viral Toddler Techno sensation Lenny Pearce brought his signature family rave to paradise.

It was a real-life example of one of this year’s most popular travel trends: gig tripping, where a must-see concert or live event becomes the reason to plan a vacation. And as we explored in our recent guide to family gig tripping, who says the kids can’t get in on the fun?

As part of Beaches Resorts’ annual Fall Fam Jam, Lenny turned the resort into one giant dance floor with four exclusive performances from September 16–21, bringing kids, parents and grandparents together for a week of music, movement and Caribbean fun, with special cameos from Beaches Resorts’ friends from Sesame Street.

So, Who Is Lenny Pearce?

If you have a toddler at home, there’s a good chance you’ve already heard his music.
The Australian DJ and dad has become a global family entertainment phenomenon by transforming childhood favorites into high-energy electronic dance tracks that kids love and get parents dancing, too. His Toddler Techno and family rave experiences have attracted millions of followers online and taken him to stages around the world.

At Beaches, the phenomenon got a decidedly tropical twist.

Four Raves, One Caribbean Playground

The party kicked off at the French Village Open Air Theatre, where families danced along to Lenny’s high-energy electronic remixes of childhood favorites. From there, the celebration headed poolside.

At the new Treasure Beach Village, families danced under the Caribbean sun around the village’s 15,000-square-foot pool, complete with giant gummy bear and rubber ducky floaties and neon Beaches sunnies.

The fun continued on Friday evening at the French Village pool, where guests jumped right into the action, dancing in a glow-stick-lit pool as Lenny performed overhead. Larger-than-life props, including a giant Humpty Dumpty balloon, bounced through the crowd; fan-favorite character Kuma made an appearance, and fireworks closed out the night.

Lenny wrapped up his four-show residency with one final sun-soaked performance at the Italian Village Pool.

Familiar Faces Joined the Fun

Before the shows got started, guests were welcomed to Bubbles Before the Beats, a festive pre-show celebration featuring cocktails and mocktails, island bites and an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet with Lenny. 

Guests included Twilight alumni and longtime friends Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz, who vacationed together with their families and joined in on the high-energy performances. 

Fall Fam Jam was designed as a time for families to let go, reconnect, and simply have fun together, and these former castmates did just that. The longtime friends caught up, let loose, and shared plenty of laughs, proving that some bonds pick up right where they left off. And while the weekend brought old friends back together, it also made room for a few new friendships along the way.

TV personalities and social media creators Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann, who first visited the Sandals Resorts family for their babymoon at Sandals Dunn’s River, returned as a family of three, bringing their little one along for the fun at Beaches Turks & Caicos’ Fall Fam Jam.The event also welcomed Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, who enjoyed the week's entertainment with her family while at the resort.

Vacation Mode: On

Lenny didn't just lead the fun, he got in on it too. 

Between shows, he was a Beaches guest himself, vacationing with his own family and making time to enjoy the beach, pools and resort experiences together.

It was a fitting getaway and gave the artist behind the family rave phenomenon a chance to experience Fall Fam Jam from the other side of the stage.

“It definitely surprised me and exceeded my expectations of what kind of party this place can throw," said Lenny. “Just to see my family have a good time means heaps to me, because that’s my goal for them. This place is amazing,” he shared while reflecting on the experience on the Sandals Palmcast.

He joined the podcast fresh off his Beaches stay to talk about what surprised him about the resort, his family’s favorite moments and what it was like watching Toddler Techno bring families together in an entirely new setting.

A Family Vacation with a Festival Twist

Lenny’s Toddler Techno takeover was part of Beaches Fall Fam Jam, bringing a festival-inspired lineup of entertainment and activities to Beaches Turks and Caicos and Beaches Negril throughout September and October.

And the fun isn’t over yet. Fall Fam Jam continues with KIDZ BOP making a special Caribbean stop at Beaches Turks & Caicos October 1–5, plus new Sesame Street® experiences, toddler programming, beach parties, Caribbean Street Parties and plenty more designed to get the whole family playing, dancing and making memories together.
