Inside Beaches Turks & Caicos’ Star-studded Celebration of Treasure Beach Village

There’s a new reason families are dreaming about Turks and Caicos this summer. Beaches Resorts officially unveiled Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos with an over-the-top celebration weekend that transformed Grace Bay Beach into a vibrant showcase of Caribbean culture, entertainment, and connection.

The newly opened $150 million expansion marks a major new chapter for the beloved all-inclusive resort, introducing an entirely new village filled with spacious all-suite accommodations, immersive dining, and experiences designed for the way families travel today.

And if the debut weekend was any indication, Treasure Beach Village is all about celebrating life’s most meaningful moments — together.
A Celebration Set on the Shores of Grace Bay
Over the course of the weekend, celebrity guests, tastemakers, media, and island dignitaries gathered at the resort for a series of curated events that brought the energy of the Caribbean to life.
The highlight of the festivities was the Treasure Beach Village Bash, an immersive evening celebration set against the stunning backdrop of the resort’s newest village. Guests arrived via the playful “Shellebrity” Pink Carpet, inspired by the soft blush tones of Turks and Caicos conch shells, before stepping into a night filled with music, culture, and spectacle.
Celebrity attendees included Abbey Romeo, Amanda Kloots, Bethany C. Meyers, Boris Kodjoe, Bryan Greenberg, Chad Michael Murray, David Annable, Dorinda Medley, Jamie Chung, Jesse Eisenberg, Kelly Bensimon, Melissa Roxburgh, Nico Tortorella, Nicole Ari Parker, Odette Annable, Ross Mathews, Sam Champion, Sasha Pieterse and Taye Diggs.
The evening opened with the iconic sound of a conch shell and a moving spoken-word performance by students from the Provo Inter High School Choir, honoring the spirit and culture of Turks and Caicos.
From there, the celebration unfolded across the village with more than 170 performers, including Junkanoo dancers, fire performers, acrobats, and a gravity-defying performance from internationally renowned troupe Jonglissimo.
As the night continued, illuminated boat installations floating across the village’s sprawling lagoon-style pool paid tribute to the islands’ rich conch fishing heritage, while a fireworks showcase lit up the sky over Grace Bay Beach.

The evening ended with a high-energy performance by American Authors, whose hit “Best Day of My Life” became the unofficial anthem of the night.
Caribbean Culture at the Heart of the Weekend
The celebrations extended far beyond one evening.
Guests kicked off the weekend during Regatta Golden Hour on Treasure Beach, inspired by the island’s sailing traditions, where cocktails served in coconuts and sunset yacht rock sets, played by viral DJ Mr. Wired Up, created an effortlessly laid-back island atmosphere.

Another standout moment came during the Beaches Caribbean Block Party in the resort’s French Village. The streets came alive with live music, local artisans, Caribbean flavors, and a traditional fish fry, creating the kind of lively, communal atmosphere that defines the islands.

Throughout the weekend, guests explored the resort’s newest culinary additions, including the debut of Pinta Food Hall — the first food hall concept at Beaches Resorts — and the highly anticipated arrival of Butch’s Island Chop House at Beaches Turks & Caicos.
More Than a Resort Expansion
While the weekend delivered plenty of entertainment, the heart of Treasure Beach Village is its focus on connection, play, and shared experiences.
Guests participated in pickleball clinics with APP pro Megan Fudge, joined mahjong experiences hosted by Kari Long of Mahj on the Beach, and sailed the turquoise waters aboard Island Routes catamaran excursions. Abbey Romeo even lived out her childhood dream of being a mermaid, while Dorinda Medley embraced the environment as the perfect place to work on her new book. The weekend also sparked an unexpected One Tree Hill reunion as former co-stars Chad Michael Murray and Bryan Greenberg crossed paths at the event.

The weekend also highlighted the work of the Sandals Foundation through its Reading Road Trip initiative, which connected visiting families and special guests including Kelly Bensimon and Jesse Eisenberg with local students through storytelling and literacy activities.

At the center of it all was Treasure Beach Village itself — a bold new addition featuring 101 thoughtfully designed multi-bedroom suites, expansive gathering spaces, immersive Caribbean-inspired design, and experiences tailored for modern family travel.
And for Beaches Resorts, it’s just the beginning. The brand has already announced future expansion plans across The Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — signaling an exciting new era for family vacations in the Caribbean.
