My compliments to the chefs and the entertainment staff. Chefs Ralston, Steve, Gamadia, Fitzroy, Andre and Salvador went out of there way to prepare us incredible food with many dietary restrictions. They did it with a smile, which goes a long way. I would also like to compliment the entertainment staff specifically Rushane (Tom Cruise). He was fantastic with our three children ranging in age from 9 - 14. He really has a knack for getting them involved.

Planning this family vacation was a daunting task. Finding a trip that would please all six of us- myself and my husband and our four kids- two 11 year olds (one with autism), a 15 year old, and a 17 year old seemed nearly impossible. We considered Disney (too much time waiting in lines, too stressful, too many additional expenses), a cruise (too crowded, sensory overload for my autistic son), a cross country road trip (cramped car for days on end with six people- no thanks), nothing seemed right. Then I came across Beaches and I knew I found it. This would be the vacation that had something for everyone. In fact, everything was for everyone! Every single part of the trip was enjoyed by all. My son is not very verbal, but he does talk about things he loves. Since we came back he talks constantly about Jamaica, waterslides, and the beach! All the kids enjoyed every single aspect of the trip. There was no part where they were being typical moody teens or embarrassed to hang out with their parents. They had smiles on their faces the entire time and even though I expected the older teens to take a lot of time to hang out on their own, we hung out happily together as a family for 99% of the time. We had such a great time that my husband and I even booked a vacation for just the two of us at the Royal Bahamian before we even left Ocho Rios! If our second Beaches/Sandals vacation is as amazing as our first I have a feeling we may book a another trip for the six of us during that stay too. Our stay at Ocho Rios was truly beyond compare and all expectations. It is difficult to take a relaxing vacation with four kids but somehow we did it!

As always my trip to BTC was amazing. This was my first trip on my own with friends, but have been many times before. The resort look as beautiful as ever when we were there and the staff amazing as always. Never once have I ever had a bad meal or bad encounter with an employee. I look forward to planning many more trips to BTC and trying many other places that sandals has to offer.
