Unique Vacations, Inc. the Worldwide Representative of Sandals & Beaches Resorts is accepting resumes for home based Business Development Managers (aka Outside Sales Manager) for the following territory:

1) Based in Minneapolis or St Paul, covering MN,SD,ND
2) Based in Eastern Pennsylvania covering east PA
- Individuals must be a team player with excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently in a fast paced environment, be personable as well as assertive.
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, must be goal oriented and motivated by commission.
- Overnight and weekend travel expected in addition to travelling outside of the USA for extended periods of time, especially during the training phase.
- Computer literate a must.

Job Requirements:
Main Objective: To impact business for Sandals and Beaches Resorts and all of our related products by servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels.
Grow new business by helping travel agents develop marketing plans and reach booking goals via utilization of the vast tools available through the Certified Sandals Specialist Program and Preferred Sandals Specialist Program.
Requirements: The position requires an outgoing positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills, teamwork and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
Job requires extensive travel both by car and plane for possibly long periods and a major commitment.
Sales Managers are required to have a level of computer proficiency that will allow them to navigate the internet, communicate via e-mail, operate a laptop computer, conduct, prepare & update presentations using PowerPoint, manipulate spreadsheets, and prepare documents using a word processor.
In addition, Sales Managers are expected to speak in public and prepare presentations for travel agencies, wholesalers and other industry organizations and professionals.
Required field activity:
To service Travel Agencies: Daily sales calls; In-House agency presentations; Conducting Sandals/Beaches (Consumer) Nights; Representing the company at Trade Shows; Working bridal and consumer shows; Working with and attending meetings for agency & industry organizations; Conducting self initiated familiarization trips and conducting corporate office mandated fam trips; Planning and executing Sales Blitz; Assisting with events in other regions as needed; Planning and executing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner events and seminars; Seeking out advertising & promotional opportunities; Positioning Sandals & Beaches products within agencies to reach consumers and expand brand awareness; Any other functions deemed necessary by the company to generate sales.
